I am going to North Carolina tomorrow morning for a conference. I've never been there before, but I hear it is gorgeous. We are flying into New Bern and then driving to Kinston where the conference is.
Has anyone been to NC before and know of any neat things to do around there or good places to eat?

I've been one time & it is absolutely gorgeous! I thought the TX Hill Country was beautiful... and then I saw the Great Smoky Mountains! They are breathtaking! Of course, this is from a girl who has spent her entire life in TX, so I was completely awestruck. I would definitely recommend taking one of the scenic mountain drives, if you get a chance. Have fun!
