- Yesterday afternoon, Caleb and I decided to go visit Grandaddy in the hospital. We had to travel down 75 which was pretty traffic-y. At one point, the cars in front of me stopped extremely fast. I had to slam on my brakes, and I probably nearly missed the car in front of me by millimeters. My adrenaline was pumping, and I said "Thank you, God!" Of course, I immediately start hearing "Thank you, God!" in the back seat. I used that as a teaching moment to tell Caleb that we should thank God for everything and that we should really thank Him more than we really do.
- After going to visit Grandaddy, Caleb kept saying "Grandaddy hurt." (Grandaddy fell and broke his hip.) I also turned this into a lesson by telling Caleb that when he thinks about Grandaddy, he should pray "God, please make Grandaddy better!" Then, of course, over the next few minutes I heard that line over and over.
It's amazing the teaching moments that come up constantly with Caleb. It is so fun to see everything that he is learning and to hear his little thoughts. What a blessing!

AMEN and AMEN! I am so-o-o glad that Caleb has a mommy that sees those teachable moments and takes advantage of them. God bless you, Steph. I'm needing an update on Granddaddy, too.
Love U.
