It Breaks My Heart...
about the Amish girls that were shot yesterday. It is hard for me to wrap my mind around this seemingly senseless act of horrific violence. There have been so many of these sorts of incidents lately...so many that president Bush and the government are starting to question what can be done about this sort of thing. I can't imagine how anyone could mistreat kids, so this kind of thing is completely unthinkable. I pray for our great country. May God be with us all.

The news is saturated with random, senseless acts of violence against children (and adults). I don't see how anyone can change any policies that will somehow make us all safer. The only thing that could do that would be a change of heart in those that are causing the harm. It breaks my heart too, to think about what the familes must face after such an evil act robs them of their precious children.
