Chris is at the Men's Retreat this weekend. So, while Daddy is away...Caleb and Mommy will play!
Besides all of the playing, we had an interesting 20 minutes around Caleb's bed time tonight. At 8, it sounded like a gun shot went off behind our house. I immediately popped up and turned the house alarm on. Then as I was putting Caleb to bed (8:20), another gun shot sound. So, I got to call 911 for the first time in my life. They put me through to the Sachse PD, and I found out it was only fireworks. I guess the police had figured out what the deal was after the first loud noise. There were probably others that called after the first loud noise. So, anyway, that made for an exciting 20 minutes or so.

Hope you and Caleb have a fun time. The picture are so cute. I had so much fun watching him Wednesday night. He is such a flirt! It is amazing how fast he is growing! But he has a smile to die for!
Love the pics! Glad you guys are having fun! That one close up of Caleb with the big grin reminds me of my Ellie Beth's smile! EB does that funny grin all the time... Josh calls it her Jack-O-Lantern smile, since she is missing all 4 "I" teeth like Caleb. Tooooo cute!
Been there, done that with 911. I called when Jon was on shift one night. I thought someone was in our house. Turns out it was our
Christmas lights banging on the front door from the wind.
But it is always better to call and have it turn out to be nothing!
