A few weeks ago while driving home on I30, I noticed the new neon signs on the side of the road. Now, I grew up in Mesquite and am all for Mesquite pride, but I think the neon signs are a bit much. I have now driven by them going the opposite direction two times, and I think they are a big distraction and just a little too flashy. I know you are trying to make Mesquite look better, and I really do appreciate that. I just think big, bright neon signs aren't the way to go about it.

Yeah, I agree Stephanie - neon signs have never meant "beautification" in my mind!

cody and i are thinking about installing neon signs in front of our house...something low-key, perhaps just our last name in a cool purple. I am not sure if I prefer it to flash or shine steadily...
